Best Places to Watch the Sunrise in LA

The open-air observation deck at OUE Skyspace provides 360-degree views of the city. Take in that downtown view nearly 1,000 feet above the city. Don’t forget to ride the glass slide for an ultimate rush. They even offer Sunrise Yoga so you can zen out in the early morning clouds.

Los Angeles City Hall

Another downtown destination, head to LA City Hall for their 27th-floor observation deck. The historic building gives you clear skyline views that make the makes the peaking sun glimmer gorgeously. 

Getty Center

The Getty Center offers beauty both inside and out, explore the gardens and deck that offer up expansive views over the 405. The renowned campus offers iconic views from high.

Griffith Observatory

One of the most important Hollywood vantage points is the Griffith Observatory. The famous deck has been hosting viewers since 1935. Grab a telescope and watch the sun rise (or set) over Los Angeles.

The Los Angeles County Arboretum and Botanic Garden is a unique 127-acre botanical garden and historical site located in what was the heart of the historic Rancho Santa Anita in the city of Arcadia.
