BEAUTIFUL THINGS follows Greens extraordinary solo debut album, AVALON, which received critical accolades upon its 2008 release. Among the highlights was a cover feature in Alternative Press, with AVALON earning a four-out-of-five starred rave lead review. Focused and deliberate, the review stated, It takes a certain kind of man to be as emotionally strong and mentally grounded as he is musically gifted; Anthony Green is definitely that man. Furthermore, SPIN declared AVALON to be a set of idiosyncratic, deeply personal ballads.
